What games I’d be playing if I wasn’t playing WoW
Ed brings up a good point. World of Warcraft, in fact MMOs in general, have a tendency to soak up all of your free time. They push out all other games, and you’re eventually left with a backlog for those times that you need an MMO break.
Luckily, I’m currently on break from WoW. It’s time to make some progress.
Here is my list of games to play:
- Command and Conquer 3
- Dawn of War
- Dawn of War: Winter Assault
- Oblivion
- Supreme Commander
- Stalker
- Company of Heroes
- Crackdown
- Lost Planet
- Dark Messiah: Might and Magic
- Guild Wars (uh oh, another MMO)
- Splinter Cell: Double Agent
- Xenosaga 3
Games I need to finish:
- Final Fantasy 12
- Xenosaga 2
- Metroid Prime 1/2
Games I’m looking forward to:
- Resident Evil 5
- Assassin’s Creed
- BioShock
- Lost Odyssey
- GTA IV
- Halo 3
- Super Puzzle Fighter (XBLA)
I’m sure that there are more games for this last list, but these are what I’ve remembered off the top of my head.
The other good news is that I’ve been deciding on parts for a new computer. My current one can’t handle the newer PC games. Once that is decided I’ll post up the specs.

It took you 8 years to finish Xenogears. Don’t rehash the shame. Finish Xenosaga. It’s fantastic. Just ask Nate (non-SoCal Nate).
